Our Heavenly Herd
We've had some wonderful horses over the years, and there have been some who have earned their angel wings and crossed the rainbow bridge into the pastures of Heaven. We miss them but know they are still with us and will always remain a part of the MFP story and legacy.
Nikki
1998-2024
Nikki was a 26-year-old registered Percheron mare who spent her golden years with us after a long life as a show horse and broodmare. During her time at MFP, she taught many young students how to ride and some "rusty stirrup" adults how to get back in the saddle. Her patience, energy, willingness, spirit, as well as her sweet and gentle nature made her a favorite on the farm. She is deeply missed.
Sassy
2023
Sassy was a beloved member of our pony herd. She left us in late summer of 2023. Every time we see a rainbow in the sky, we know she is watching over us and the kids she bonded with.
